Last weekend we went to visit the relatives 4 hours away and Jonny had an absolute blast. We ate lots of unhealthy foods, did not even think about working out, and went to The Rocket for chocolate chip cookies, mochas, and ham/egg/cheese on a bagel breakfast almost every morning. We spent lots of time finding Jonny’s ticklish spot.

Even though, Jonny ended up with a cold and did not sleep very well at all the whole trip (he slept mostly with us) it was very enjoyable. Mama is still getting over a cold now as well. I caught it at the tail end of our trip, but recovered pretty quickly.

There has been a bit of fluid discharge from Jonny’s ears, so he may have an ear infection, but he had tubes placed in his ears following his palate surgery and it is nice to know they are doing precisely what they were meant to do (discharge the fluid instead of letting it build up).

We got Mama a new computer so she doesn’t have to use my work computer all the time and we took it with us so Jonny could watch his muppet show for all the long trips. The drive home was the BEST I have ever seen a kid travel. He was perfectly content in the back seat for 2.5 hours and then napped the rest of the way home. We didn’t even have to use his muppet dvd’s for distraction at all.
