This came across my memories from 4 years ago about getting 4-year-old Jonah to sit through Jonny’s IEP.
My mind is such that currently, I don’t actually remember writing this, so I found myself thoroughly entertained reading it. Thought I’d share.. (again)

…Fed up with the amount of time and the sheer boredom of the IEP meeting, a heroic Jonah sprang into action.
His options were limited. Something… someONE had to make it stop.
With no other choice, he decided that only a well-timed tablet throw directly into the heart of darkness—a table full of 7 teachers, PT’s, OTs, and specialists holding Mom and Dad hostage—was the best… nay, the ONLY course of action to take to MAKE… IT… STOP.
He wound up like the mighty Zeus ready to hurl thunderbolts of mass destruction upon those who would stand in his way.
But, BLAST!
As he released the transformed projectile, a deadly combination of frisbee and ballistic tablet missile, Dad (obviously under the evil teachers’ spell), saw what was happening and attempted to thwart the imminent chaos of victory by blocking Jonah’s glorious throw.
Undeterred and steadfastly resolute, Jonah doubled-down and let loose with the vengeance of a thousand red-hot volcanoes…
Dad was only able to partially deflect the perfectly aimed and expertly timed throw of the heroic herald of freedom.
And even though it didn’t end up embedding itself right into the very face of evil, the tablet of justice struck a glancing blow—with devastating power—into the leg of one of the PTs.
And though the evil meeting of IEP did not end there, it was interrupted for one brief, but glorious moment.
Jonah revelled with delight. It may not have been a knockout punch… but it was at least a pin prick. And all of those present would remember his name.
Even though he may have not won the war, or even that battle… that moment—that GLORIOUS moment was his.
And nobody can take that away.
