“Stimming” can be a … (video)

“Stimming” can be a characteristic of autism.

But, I have learned that it can also be present in someone with #KabukiSyndrome

Another thing, I have found unique to Jonny is “mirrored finger movements.” That means the fingers on one hand will mirror the fingers on the other. This can ALSO be a trait of Kabuki Syndrome.

This can be problematic sometimes when Jonny needs to do things with his hands independently.

So things like playing with his tablet or playing video games (or anything involving 2 hands) can actually be beneficial for his coordination and dexterity.

Do any of your kiddos have mirrored finger movements?
