I think the most challenging thing I’ve gone through as a parent is reconciling the “idea of parenthood” with the realities of it.

And then instead of fretting about the destination, learning to just enjoy the journey.

As much as I have taught my kids about life, they have taught me about parenthood.

I’m not the parent I thought I’d be, but I’ve learned to become the parent my kids need me to be.
