This is the reason I like to use the word “Ausome”

Before Jonah was diagnosed with autism, I knew nothing about it, only the “negative” stigma that the media has associated with it.

I had to change the way I saw autism.

All the negative stuff that I saw out “there” was not “us.”

Autism for us is just “life.”

Running and climbing. Water and stacking. Therapies and IEPs… “First ‘this,’ then ‘that.’ “

It’s all the little things we do with the kids in life…

Each journey is different.

But for us, it is just our life…

…With “a touch of Ausome.”
