Sometimes, it’s a big deal just for our kiddos to be OUT in public. And meltdowns are gonna happen at some point.

As a parent, I can deal with the meltdowns. It’s just a part of parenting.

What makes me anxious is when the meltdown occurs in public.

Because unfortunately, in public, there are “people.”

You can get the “helpful” people or the “not so helpful” people.

“Helpful” people, mind their own business, or offer support or encouragement, or even find ways to help.

“Not-so-helpful” people tend to stare … roll their eyes… make judgements about the child and the parent or make rude comments.

Don’t do that.

Be a “helpful” person.
