What victories are you celebrating?

What victories are you celebrating?

Little things are not “LITTLE” things in an Ausome world. Reaching ANY milestone is cause for celebration.

Because OMG you guys!

Yesterday, we were out shopping for a birthday present, walking down the toy aisle, when out of nowhere, Jonah pointed up at a shelf and started singing the alphabet song.

I looked over and there was a set of alphabet blocks on a shelf he was pointing at and READING off the letters!

One of the initial markers they used to assess Jonah’s autism was “will he point to an object to reference it, or follow a point.”

When he was evaluated at 3 years old, he would do neither.

Today, he finally did.
