Who is your ‘tribe?’
I never thought I would be in this “boat.”
Yet here I am.
Here we are.
You never set out to be ‘special needs parents.’
There was a time when autism, when special needs, when “this journey” we are currently on, was the farthest thing from my mind.
We were just dealt this hand. And we learned to roll with it.
Eventually, we quit just “rolling.” We grit our teeth, pushed the pedal to the metal and are now driving this thing for all it’s worth.
And in the journey, we met others also ‘driving it for all it’s worth’
People from all walks of life. People who were going in all different directions.
Now drawn together. Now in it together.
My people.
My ‘tribe.’
