So much of parenting is simply recognizing your children’s needs and doing everything in your power to make sure those needs are met.

It’s the same in all parents.

So when we deal with things like ‘autism’ or any other parenting ‘thing,’ sometimes we have to go to extraordinary lengths to have our childrens’ needs met.

It’s not that ‘special needs’ parents are any better than other parents, it’s just that we have to take extraordinary measures for our extraordinary kids.
