It’s an hour past bedtime. I’m laying on the floor of his room.
He’s rolling all over me, occasionally kicking me in the face.
Jojo doesn’t want to fall asleep. He’s restless. He started babbling and scripting… just yammering happily away.
Then I started listening. Really listening.

“Wait.”

“Neigh.”
“Neigh.”
“Good Job!”
“I wuv pizza! I wuv pizza…”
“One minute… Otay Jojobee! 1-2-3, ALL DONE!… cween-up cween-up, ebbybuddy ebbywhere…”
When I listened closely, I found that Jonah had just told me a story about his day.
