You don’t have a sickly feeling in the pit of your stomach at every children’s party because you don’t know how he’s going to react.
You don’t see a day being ruined at 8am because a wifi connection dropped during a YouTube video.
You don’t see the shear anxiousness because there’s a school pantomime trip coming up.
You don’t understand that he lashes out because sometimes it’s the only way he knows how to communicate.
You don’t see the stress because one of the 8 Identical Thomas trains isn’t where it usually is.
You don’t hold back the tears because he doesn’t understand what a birthday is.
But I guess that’s all alright
