This was us last year when school was delayed. THIS year, I’ve finally figured out how to make the adjustment. A kitchen timer. I’ve been setting the kitchen timer each day and whenever it rings, we get to go wait for the bus. Jonah is still ready to leave at his normal time, and still needs to wait an extra 2 hours… But using that timer means that Jonah is waiting in the warm house instead of the freezing sidewalk. (Dad too. 😉)
