Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I have written about parenthood for a LONG time.
I blogged about parenthood long before “autism” came into our lives, and long before Jonah was even born. One day, I’m going to write a book about it all. It’s definitely on my “bucket list.”
But writing runs in the family.
My mother also is a talented writer. She has been writing since I was a kid. Last month, I helped my mom publish her very first book (I did the cover design and the book layout).
Today also happens to be her birthday. So for her birthday, I’m helping her to promote it.
“Destined to Be a Hamilton” is a memoir about her friend Mary Anne Hamilton, great great grandaughter-in-law of US founding father Alexander Hamilton.
I had the pleasure of meeting 89-year-old Mary Anne (via Zoom) earlier this month and she has quite a story to tell.
