Kabuki Syndrome can effect muscle tone and dexterity.
Jonny is 13. He has been working very hard and last summer was finally able to tie his shoes for the first time. We are continuing to build up those muscles.
He’s now in middle school and has started “drawing” assignments in his art class.
They are doing “portraits” this week.
This represents a TON of hard work and effort for Jonny.
He did this from a YouTube tutorial for school.
He asked me how to do some of the shading or how to get the “bump” of her lip to look right.
I offered minimal help, erasing guidelines for him and such, but the bulk of the work is his.
I couldn’t be more proud of him.
It warms my little art major’s heart.
