For this episode of …

For this episode of “what was I thinking,” I would like to present you with this:

“grabber.”

I thought it would be a fun sensory item for Jonah, and indeed it has been.

He’s been using it for all sorts of “fun” things. (Pretending it’s a “dinosaur” eating all the smaller toys, pretending it’s a baseball bat and hitting balls around the house, etc)

I just never thought he would figure out its “general purpose” so quickly.

(You know, to obtain things currently intentionally or unintentionally placed out of reach, specifically in very high places?)

Things that might be hidden “out of reach,” for a reason? Like the scissors, matches, lighters or buckets? (He will fill any bucket up with water and turn the playroom into a soggy mess) 🙄

What was I thinking?

sigh

I thought “this ‘grabber’ might be something Jonah could play with.”

I thought “THIS ‘grabber’ might be something Jonah could enjoy.”

I thought “Man, Jonah would absolutely LOVE this ‘grabber.’”

Turns out, I was right.

🤬🤬🤬

(Now I have to find a new hiding place for all the “things.”) 😆😭
