Jonah was diagnosed with Autism Dec. 2, 2016. He was completely non-verbal and the diagnosing doctor assigned him with a severity rating of “level 3… (severe–requiring VERY substantial support)”
Each year on the anniversary of Jonah’s autism diagnosis, I share this spoken word piece I wrote about the fear and wonder of starting on this ‘journey.’
Every time I watch it, I look back at where we were back then… and I marvel at how far we have come.
