I will share stories about our Ausome life and the victories and challenges we face.
Many parents STILL simply
don’t really understand what Autism is and how it can affect different people. Parents will rant about the poor behavior of another child and they don’t even consider the possibility of special needs with that child. 3 years ago, I may not have either.
So I share our story. Sometimes MY kid is “that” kid. And even though we have lots to work on, we have actually come a VERY long way.
With the right information, judgement can turn into understanding. And with understanding comes acceptance.
