I do my best with my kids. I get questions about autism from other parents and sometimes I just have to shrug and say “I don’t know.” It’s such a huge spectrum.

I’m not autistic. I don’t know what it’s like to be autistic. And each person is different, autism or no.

I say this often. I’m NOT an expert in autism. I AM an expert in my child. And yet, I still have so much to learn about both of them.
