I wrote this Saturday a few weeks ago.
The last few nights have also been like this.
Lord help us.
“He strolls into our room just before 5am on a Saturday morning. Gets us up by singing, rolling over and kicking us in the face for a couple hours in our bed.
Falls back asleep in our bed just before 7am so he can sleep the rest of the morning away.
Because he needs to be “well-rested” you know…
… for when he gets up at a quarter to “what-ungodly-hour-is-it-now?” tomorrow.
…and he’s snoring. He’s the cutest little 5-year-old jerk you’ve ever seen.”
