How was your weekend? Have all the Christmas toys died yet?
Jonah got some magic track tubes for Christmas that have unfortunately already broken.
I discreetly threw them away hoping Jonah wouldn’t notice they were gone.
I should know better.
Today as I was sorting the garage, Jonah saw the box for it amongst the rubbish and pulled it back out with a big smile.
He wanted to play with it… but they are gone.
He didn’t get upset about it…. he just started carrying the box around.
And around. And around…
Until he decided to … put the box on. Yep. He put his feet through the box and pulled it up like a pair of pants.
Then he proceeded to sit at the top of the stairs in said box and with a grin on his face, and with reckless abandon, he rode the box down the stairs, whooping and hollering like Kevin riding a sled down his staircase in the movie, “Home Alone.”
Jonah couldn’t play with his Magic Trax tubes, but that didn’t stop him from having fun with the box they came in!
This kid.
