Jonah just ROCKED his haircut at a completely new salon.
We didn’t have time to go to our “favorite” kids cut place. They are fantastic but a bit of a drive to get there. So we went to where I go.
New stylist. New place. No toys or anything to play with.
ROCKED IT.
This is a culmination of 3 years of hard work. When we started haircuts, Jonah would scream, thrash, flail, and block the stylist from touching his hair. There was one stylist who gave him half a haircut, and would not finish. You could hear him screaming halfway across the mall.
So we found a good place just for kids and started a good routine and stuck with it until Jonah knew what to expect.
Today we broke the “haircut routine.”
I didn’t know what to expect.
But we have been doing haircuts long enough now that despite it being at a new place with a new stylist…. despite my “not knowing what to expect…”
…Jonah did.
And he ROCKED it.
