My little engineer…

So we’ve turned 5 and graduated from “simple towers” to “architecture.”

The other day, I was putting together an easel that Jonah got for his birthday.

He was so interested in how all the pieces fit together. Eventually, he grabbed the screwdriver out of my hand and began screwing it together himself.

And he DID IT. (With a little help)

I marveled at his coordination and dexterity, not to mention figuring out how the screwdriver works.

I was seriously thrilled… and then I realized what that meant.

If he knows how to use a screwdriver… he can theoretically dismantle almost anything in the house.
