We went to a “backyard movie night” at our friends’ house.
They do this annually, but this is the first year Jonah has not only stayed the whole time, but he stayed with the other kids, sitting in a chair or laying on a blanket.
He took a couple breaks to run around, but the back yard wasn’t enclosed and he didn’t try to elope once!
If the movie was “the greatest showman” or “Daniel Tiger,” he may have even taken an interest in the movie.
We watched Ready Player One — the only part he watched was the car race, and he giggled the whole way through it as car after car wrecked.
Woo-hoo!
(Don’t know if we’re quite ready to try a movie theatre yet, though.)
