So this happened.
Jonah grabs the nail clippers, walks up to me, hands them to me, lets me clip the nails on one of his hands, and then walks away, easy as you please.
You know, usually, one sure-fire way to get an insta-meltdown from Jonah is to clip his nails…
He usually screams, grabs the nail clippings and tries to put them back on or screams at us to try to get us to “put his nails back on.”
So this is HUGE.
I think he is recognizing that long nails are MORE uncomfortable than short nails and like haircuts, has begun getting used to them.
There is no “secret formula.” I wish there was.
Just lots of time… and a routine. Like everything else.
