Celebrating a conversation I just had with Jojo.

(Yes. A CONVERSATION!)

Me: “Jojo, do you want some Mac-n-cheese?”

Jonah (nonchalantly): “no.”

Me: 🧐 (was he scripting “no” or actually telling me “no.”)

Jonah: “I said ‘No.’ “

Me (floored): “okay, bud. Great job telling me ‘No!’ (I set his Mac n cheese on the table.)

Me: “What do you want?”

Jonah (opens the fridge): “Thirsty!”

Me: “okay!” (I pour him a drink)

Jonah grabs his drink, takes it to the table, sits down, and eats his Mac n cheese.

I have to take time and celebrate how far we have come because a year ago, I would never have dreamed we would be at this point!
