When we become parents, we are signing up for “virtually anything.”…

When we become parents, we are signing up for “virtually anything.”

We simply don’t know what our kids will be like.

Our children are our children.

As parents, we do the best we can with what we have been given.

And our kids will be every kind of “different,” because they are their own person. That may mean something different now than it did before we had children, but it is something we have learned to accept.

“Autism” to me is now just synonymous with parenthood.

…and everything that goes along with it.

“…It’s courage, bravery and fearlessness. It means nothing small and everything big.”
