We went to the park yesterday. The wood chips kept getting in Jonah’s shoes and poking his feet.

So rather than be done with playground, Jonah thought it better to just go without shoes and step directly on the wood chips than to have them get stuck in his shoes.

Normally, I would require shoes to play on the playground. but he was happy… so I was happy.

And he was inspired to start climbing.
