The biggest fear of any parent with a non-verbal…

The biggest fear of any parent with a non-verbal kid is that their child is being mistreated without their knowledge.

Our kids cannot tell us if there is something going on. All we can do is judge their demeanor to gauge their desire to be there.

We place SO much trust in our educators to teach our kids, to love our kids, and to not harm our kids.

When our kids come home with bruising and scratches, we want to know WHY. Did they fall? Did they Have an accident? Was it another kid??

When it becomes a pattern, it becomes a problem.

A BIG problem.

If it happened THIS many times, I would be livid….

And I would want to see for myself how he is being hurt.

My heart breaks for this family… for ANY family going through this.

Much love to my friends at Walk Down Autism Lane. Hang in there!
