Jojo can find joy in ANY LITTLE THING he sees…

Jojo can find joy in ANY LITTLE THING he sees.

The other day, we were at a sprinkler park (spray ground) and Jonah was on his hands and knees looking down the drain, face nearly pressed to the grate. He was giggling.

He did it for so long, another little girl started looking down there with him. She didn’t understand what he was seeing. It was “just water.”

But Jojo saw something MORE. He saw the way the water seemed to frolic and play as it went on its way…he saw the way it never seemed to stop… how the light reflected off the surface of it in a visually dazzling and ever-changing display of refracted and reflected colors…It was mesmerizing.

But the little girl didn’t understand. She just saw “running water.”

Jonah can find beauty in ANYTHING. And I love that about him.

The world is FULL of beauty… if we only take the time to look.
