Jonah is so much more engaged at school… he behaves better at school. He does what his teachers ask, as best he can… until he gets comfortable.
You can tell that Jonah is getting comfortable with his classmates, teachers and his school routine when his behavior at school mimics his behavior at home.
His teachers don’t quite see it that way.
Today I went to pick Jonah up from school and one of his teachers informed me that he “had a rough day.”
He was throwing everything around the classroom. He wasn’t listening or following instructions, and he was running around everywhere.
One of the paras had to chase him around the playground to get him to come inside.
Rough day?…
…I like to call it, “EVERY DAY WITH ME AT HOME!”
