Excuse me while I do some laundry

I jogged outside for the first time today in … forever.

I showered, changed and threw the running clothes in the hamper

Apparently, Jonah LOVES the running sweatshirt I was wearing.

He pulled it out of the dirty clothes hamper and brought it to me. It’s bright. It’s soft. It’s got fun patterns. He looked up at me pleadingly, holding it out.

“Wear this again. Please?” is what that look said.

It’s also drenched in sweat. There’s no way I’m putting it back on.

I told him, “It’s all wet, buddy.”

He went over and pulled some paper towels off the roll and started “drying it off.”

When it was “dry” enough to his satisfaction he handed it back to me. He was beaming.

It was still soaked in sweat.

huh boy.

There was no way I was putting that sweaty thing back on, but Jonah was so proud of himself.

So I pulled out the only weapon left to me in my arsenal.

“Hey Jojo! You want to play with my phone?”

Crisis averted (for now).

Excuse me while I do some laundry, like right now.
