“Because parenting is tiring!”
This was my answer to my oldest son, Jonny, when he asked me why I fell asleep during the movie I took him to yesterday.
Coincidentally, Jonah also fell asleep at home while I was gone at the movie and slept for a good 3 hours.
He was still asleep when I got home.
I knew bedtime was done for.
So, melatonin it was…he went down around 10:30pm (not TOO bad).
He got up at 1:30am.
So it’s 4:30am now. He’s supposed to be up in like 3 hours. He still hasn’t gone back down to sleep yet.
I’d like to apologize to Jojo’s teachers, specialists, and therapists he’s working with today in advance.
Today just never had a chance.
