We have been in Maui long enough for the novelty to wear off for Jojo and give way to a “hotel routine.”
We will go from one pool to another pool to a hot tub and back into a pool.
That being said, Jojo has been having difficulty transitioning out of each pool lately.
Sometimes it’s just “time to go” and even when Jojo has been made aware of the upcoming transition, he is loth to leave.
Pretty sure we gave the entire pool area of the resort a strong dose of “autism awareness” yesterday.
Thank God we brought our stroller. Jonah still accepts that he cannot get out of it.
So he will scream and fight us right until we are able to “click” him in, which takes both of us, but once he is in, he stops fighting.
So, a bit of a rough time of it, yesterday.
It’s still loads better than I could have ever dreamed.
