We were an hour late for school because Jonah had a meltdown.
This time it was because Jojo didn’t want to have his dirty pull-up changed and then wanted to take a bath(for the 2nd time today) 5 minutes before we had to leave for school . It deteriorated very quickly without a real trigger. Thankfully, he let me finish cleaning him up, but would not let me put any clothes on him.
Naked hour-long melt down…. sigh
I finally dug his favorite shirt out of the laundry pile and must have flipped a switch, because as soon as he saw it, he started laughing instantly and tried to put it on himself.
Then he let me finish changing him and we went to school.
It’s been a tough day… juggling work deadlines, consoling Jonah, keeping him entertained, trying to tidy the house and feeding the kids and busing them to and from school…
or as I like to call it…
Tuesday.
