It feels like riding the biggest wave ever. I don’t ever want it to stop.

It feels like riding the biggest wave ever. I don’t ever want it to stop.

So this is a new one tonight.

Bedtime. We do our “Hug-gies” routine. Now it’s REALLY bed time.

Jonah gets out of bed.

Again.

This is common.

Lately, I’ve been letting Jonah get out of bed at night, but only if he lets me hold him. As soon as he starts flailing, back in bed he goes.

So it’s a win/win. He gets out of bed. I get all the Jonah snuggles…

…or he stays in bed.

This time, while I was holding him, he took his sippy cup and held it up to my lips with a big grin on his face.

So I pretended to take a sip. “NOMNOMNOM!”

He giggled with glee. This went on for a good five minutes before I put him back to bed and he was content to stay.

He didn’t get back out.

He was asleep 20 minutes later

It feels like riding the biggest wave ever. I don’t ever want it to stop.
