My little goofball is snuggled in bed with his visual feast of a light show giggling and giggling for no particular reason.

When he was diagnosed, the evaluator said that he was generally a “very happy boy” despite his level 3 (Requires Very substantial support) ASD diagnosis.

I always picture “Joy” from Inside Out at the helm in his mind…

When he is melting down, Joy is simply trying to get back to headquarters and we just have to ride it out with Anger, Fear, and Disgust until she can get back to take the controls again.
