It threatened to rain the whole time and dumped on us on the way there. But after we got there, it was actually pretty nice.

We got a little lost on the way there and Jonny fell asleep in the car. We couldn’t get him to wake up again, even after transferring him to his stroller. Nothing like a little 45 minute nap at 7:30pm. I don’t think he ended up going to sleep that night until after 11:30.

After he finally did wake up, he actually enjoyed it …after the initial shock of waking in his stroller up outside in a dark place with bright lights wore off.

This is at the end of the night. It was getting on about bedtime, but we found a carosel in the zoo. Jonny and Momma were the last ones on so Jonny didn’t get to ride a horsey but he enjoyed it. You can see him waving here. His face was just too tired to smile.
