Meeting the rest of the fam.

Jonny had an absolutely marvelous weekend with his cousins and Auntie S. and Uncle G.

He went to the zoo, went to Grammy and Papa’s, and got to have all kinds of fun. Sunday night we got to meet Grandma Nita (who is actually his Great Grandma), got to see our cousin (via web-cam) who is a month older than Jonny. We got to see Auntie D. and her whole family at her going away party before she goes off to her new job in D.C.

“…Sup. I’m Jonny” Jonny visited the Orthopedic specialist last week and was fit with a harness for his hips holding his legs to the side and up (like a frog). He will be wearing it for the next 4-6 weeks until the muscles around his hip joints develop and the joint is held in place.

You really have to zoom in to fully appreciate the expressions on these kids’ faces. Cousin D. is pulling on cousin N’s ear and looking absolutely delighted about it. Everyone else is looking pretty content. Jonny is almost smiling!
