So what do your kids want this year?
Honestly, I’m thinking of getting Jonny … a ball of yarn.
I asked him what presents he would want (besides a PS4)…
He says, “I dunno. Disney and Star Wars stuff.”
This is his standard answer. This was true probably 2 years ago…
Currently the ONLY things he plays with are his tablet, his WiiU, his “stuffies,” and “Foxhat” (a handmade stocking hat) or “string” (exactly as it sounds)… He hasn’t touched any of the Star Wars toys or action figures he’s received in the last couple years and besides “Disney on Ice,” hasn’t really showed much interest in “Disney” things either.
But lately, he has wanted a “string” with him all the time. He has had real anxiety when he couldn’t find “HIS” string before we leave for somewhere.
This kid cuts strings off of his toys to play with. He cut the strings off of our sleeping bags…
He loves to play with “string.”
So… for Christmas?
A ball of yarn it is.
Because THAT is what would make him happy.
