Have you tried bowling with your ausome kiddos?

Jonah went bowling the other day!

He has watched Jonny bowling on videos from my phone many times.

He pretends to bowl now ALL THE TIME.

He will turn virtually any set of similar toys and a ball into a bowling alley.

But we were always hesitant to actually take him.

You have to wear “weird” shoes.
The real ball is HEAVY
You can’t just bowl all the time. You have to take turns.
You can’t run down the bowling lanes.
You can’t bowl for other people or in other lanes…

Really the list goes on and on.

But he was invited to a family birthday party at a bowling alley and we figured, we would give it a shot.

So this is the first time we have taken him.

He did REALLY well. He wore the weird shoes. He took turns when he needed to. He didn’t try to run away, and he left when it was fine to be all done.

He had an absolute blast.
